Our requirements for employment start with a class A CDL license with at least a year’s experience. You must also be at least 22 with no more than three moving violations on your record in the last three years. You cannot have a BAC, DUI, or DWI on your record within the last five years. Z Transportation carries cargo all over the US, but we are based out of the Northeast. The destination will determine the length of your trip. The shorter you are out on the road, the less time you will be at home. You may find, however, that always having those free weekends because you are running shorter trips is best for you.

We allow our drivers to choose to be on a W2 or 1099. Your rate will start at $0.68 to $0.70 cents per mile. You also receive $20 an hour during detention time and $25 an hour when you need to make extra stops. Meeting safety levels will earn you bonuses all the way up to $300. You can also earn a bonus for a referral that we hire. You will be paid weekly through direct deposits.

You will be eligible for health benefits on your first day of driving. We allow riders and pets with our drivers. You’ll have the privilege of operating top-tier rigs like the 2020 Volvo VNL-860/2021 Volvo VNL-760 and the 2023 Peterbilt model 579 UltraLoft
