The drivers we hire must have a class A CDL license and have experience of one year OTR driving. Drivers must be at least 22, with a clean history; that means no more than three moving violations in the past three years and zero BAC, DUI, or DWI within the last five years. Z Transportation moves freight all over the contiguous United States. Based in NJ, trips run all the way to the West Coast with a minimum of three weeks on the road. More time on the road earns more time off between driving, so you’ll have at least six to eight days off between jobs. We can work with you to create the best schedule for you. Working these drives as a team can make the trips easier, smoother, and less tiring while also making larger-scale trips quicker with fewer stops.

You can either be on a W2 or 1099. The rate starts at $0.70 up to $0.76 CPM, and you’ll be paid for detention and additional stops at $20 to $25 respectively. We include safety bonuses at varying levels from $100 to $300. Payments are made weekly through direct deposit. Earn other bonuses through referrals.

Eligibility for health benefits begins on the first day. We are also pet friendly. You’ll be operating on some of the top vehicles available, including the 2020 Volvo VNL-860/2021 Volvo VNL-760  and the 2023 Peterbilt model 579 UltraLoft.
